Guidelines for guest submissions
We welcome submissions on a rolling basis from academicians, legal professionals, journalists and law students.
Please adhere to the below guidelines.

Send your submission to our email with the subject line ‘Submission – IntellecTech Blog – <title>’ as a word document. Please include one or two lines about yourself (written in third person) for us to add as author’s information.

Subject:
The main subject area of your submission must pertain to Intellectual Property, Technology, Media, Entertainment, Telecom, Privacy, or Competition Laws. However, we would consider submissions pertaining to intersection of one of the above subject areas with other subject areas as well. We prefer analytical articles and strongly discourage merely descriptive articles. We recommend that articles should be crisp, analytical and based on a narrow topic rather than a broad overview of a legal concept.

Content:
1. Posts should be analytical in nature or discussing relevant legal developments. We welcome case analysis, statute analysis, review of any latest developments, etc.

2. Co-authorship, upto maximum two authors, is permitted.

3. The word limit should be between 700-1500 words.

4. All relevant sources must be hyperlinked with the relevant text in the body of the article.

5. For case laws, appropriate case citation should additionally be cited in the footnotes.

6. For online articles, news reports, or any academic sources, any formal citation style is acceptable (Oscola/Bluebook/Chicago/MLA/APA, etc.)

7. Plagiarism is prohibited. However, the authors are permitted to reasonably quote texts if they are appropriately cited.

8. Speaking footnotes are acceptable.
